After graduating in 2015 I continued my pursuit of learning glass at craft schools like Penland School of Craft, Pilchuck Glass School and more but much of the skill I gained was through my day job at a glass factory in downtown Louisville with the incredible artists that have continued the tradition of glass blowing.
Even though glass has had a huge impact on my life I will always feel most at home painting or drawing. My first mural was painted in my high school lunch room at South Oldham high school. I dabbled in mural making after college but started really going for it during the pandemic. I had the opportunity to paint the ceiling at my mom’s yoga studio so the clients had a place to travel to during savasana. This project remains one of my favorite murals to date. By some incredible force of nature I was awarded the opportunity to paint the Fourth & Main Street pump house in Downtown Louisville which combined my love of painting and glass! It includes a number glass castings, mosaics and a giant mobile in addition to a two story, fully painted building. This was the most difficult project I have completed but is hands down the coolest thing I have ever accomplished. Last year I was awarded the opportunity to paint the ambulance lane at Norton Hospital and had an amazing time. Nothing joys me more than providing a quiet respite for those who may need it.
Since 2020 I feel like I haven’t put the paintbrush (or can) down. I take my brushes with me wherever I go and have had the privilege of painting in Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Bali and the Mentawais Island of Awera. I can’t stay in one place and I won’t stop painting.

Working as an artist can be hard... I started serving at Against the Grain Brewery to help make things a little easier and as I started their chalk board artist moved on to greener pastures. I swooped right in and started chalking it up! I have learned so much about text, fonts, calligraphy and of course - chalk dust! Against the Grain has the best brew and super cool branding. It has been such an honor to work with them!
